Hope For YOUR New Year

As Christmas approaches, New Years will be right behind it. That makes right now a really good time to look back at the year that is coming to a close. Now’s the time to evaluate what went well and what might have gone horribly wrong.

How was your 2018?

So, how was your 2018? Did amazing things happen? Did some bad things happen? Did you get a year old, but don’t feel any further along in life? Did you experience great momentum in your life? How was 2018?

Ok, now that you’ve had a chance to think back to 2018, what do you think? Was this a good year? What was good about it? Was this a bad year? What made it bad? It can be hard to look back at a year that has passed. However, looking back at the year we are finishing can help us prepare for the next one.

How will 2019 be different?

What are you hoping will be different in 2019? What are you hoping to accomplish? What are you hoping will happen? What are you hoping not to repeat from 2018? Now, what are you going to differently to move yourself towards the 2019 you desire?

Do you feel hopeless?

Sadly, sometimes we get to this time of the year and feel hopeless. We look back on a year that feels like it was wasted. Instead of taking steps forward, we feel like we got stuck. Worse yet, maybe you feel like you went backwards. Even with all the fun and joy that is often comes with the holidays, many people approach the new year feeling hopeless.

There is hope.
