Throughout the Bible we read some pretty amazing stories. Moses turned a staff into a snake, and back again. Moses parted the Red Sea allowing the Israelites to escape the pursuing Egyptian army. Jesus walked on water. Peter did too, for a little bit. The lame walked, the blind saw, the deaf heard, even the dead were made to live again. So many miraculous things happened in the days that the Bible was written.
In spite of all the things we read about in the Bible. In spite of all the amazing things that God did throughout the Bible so many Christians live as if they are completely powerless. We face sickness as if powerless. We struggle with life situations as if we have no power. We stumble under the burden of bad bosses and ever increasing demands, as if there is nothing we can do about it.
God didn’t change… we did
The Bible says that God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. God, Himself, said, “I, the Lord, do not change.” If God doesn’t change, that means He didn’t change. So, what did change? We did.
Do you feel powerless?
Have you felt powerless? Have you face situations that you didn’t think would, or even COULD get any better? So have I. As I was studying the Bible recently, God revealed something very powerful to me. As I read I was reminded of where our power comes from and how we can make the most of that power.
Regain your power
This Sunday I’ll be sharing what I learned about that, as well as how you can regain the power that God intended you to have all along. Make plans to join us this Sunday to regain your power!
